Mary Lou Anderson

In a Christ in Our Home devotion I liked the statement that “Knowing first what God wants for us, along with a willingness to obey, puts us in sync with the Creator.” That is something I strive for. I love the Psalm “Lead Me Lord, Lead me in your righteousness. Make your way known”. I also like a song that says “The time to be Happy is Now, The place to be happy is here, the way to be happy is to make others happy and we’ll have a little heaven down here.”

My function as a PMA spills into everyday life and with the people, young and old that I see and work with each day. In church, I try to help the pastors in more menial functions to make their time available for things they do so well. One of my functions is Music and Worship chairman. We work hard to make worship meaningful in our church.

My hobbies include yard, garden and flowers; travel; and most of all people.

Bible Study GroupThis picture is of our weekly Bible Study and prayer support group that has met together for 8 years. I usually lead the study. Once a month we study the Lutheran Women Bible study. Other weeks we usually do a text study of the next Sunday’s text.

Enjoying familyThis picture is of me with my cousin and her daughter, my God daughter, in Connecticut. This family always recharges the joy in my life.
